Summer Medicine

Version of an old Czech recipe for curing winter colds and flu's.

[Retro] [Simple] [Strong]

Ingredients [ oz | cl ][ My Bar ]
1 12 oz Brandy[ Add ]
1 oz Lemon Juice[ Add ]
1 tsp Honey Syrup[ Add ]
Method: On the rocks
Glass: Snifter
  1. Combine the brandy, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and honey syrup in a brandy snifter.
  2. Stir
  3. Add one ice cube.
  4. You can substitute other sweeteners for honey, such as Agave syrup.

Volume: 2.7 oz
Alcohol units: 1.8 standard drink
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 22%

For traditional Czech version use Slivovice (plum brandy). For winter, heat the Slivovice in the microwave until just before boiling and then add other ingredients except ice. Cures anything. :-) At minimum, you will sleep well. :-)))
