History
Found at a couple of other online references, I had to try it since it was a simple mix of two of my favorite liqueurs. No chilling or ice allows the aromas to be prominent.

I just discovered that adding a dash or two of orange bitters to this drink is very good!
Honestly, this drink can be "cloying" sweet (sometimes that's what I want for slow sipping). My Triple Sec is 53 proof and 22% sugar, the amaretto is 58 proof and 21% sugar. The combination is almost too sweet. The bitters do something good with that sweetness.
