Type: Syrup (part of the Sugar category)
A 2:1 syrup where the sugar has been caramelized first. Significant differences in flavor exist between the under-developed (or "mild"), well-developed, and over-developed (or "burnt sugar") levels of caramelization. About 63% w/w sugar. Preserved with 1/2 tablespoon vodka per cup of syrup.
