OK, I agree that 'glace'(the word for 'ice' in some languages) sounds and can be easily mistaken with 'glass' and this is a lost-in-translation type of error, but ...
But in the world of cocktails things are much simpler, and unless you want to extra-dilute an already well chilled cocktail, you're not supposed to stir it after shaking. Or you meant 'strain' in step 2?
