Amaretto Sweet n Sour

Glass: Cocktail
Recipe:
- Frost a cocktail glass rim with fine sugar and leave it in freezer while preparing the drink.
- Pour ingredients in shaker with ice and shake for 12 seconds. (Not the cherry...)
- Pour in the cooled glass and add the maraschino cherry. (No ice cubes!!)
- Suggestion: save half a skinned wedge of grapefruit and add it to/replace the maraschino cherry.

History
I haven't search for a prior occurrence of this drink (although there is the Ladyfriend or Grapefruit Amaretto Sour out there but those are other variants) so I may not have invented it.
However, I thought about it one evening when I found the pink grapefruit juice that was left in a bowl after my wife prepared the desert for our guests.
So when the after dinner came, I tested it on the aforementioned guests with success. It has been adopted ever since.
