Vesper

The Martini invented by James Bond 007 in Casino Royale.

[Aperitif] [Glamour] [Happy Hour] [Retro] [Strong]

Ingredients [ oz | cl ][ My Bar ]
2 oz Gin[ Add ]
1 oz Vodka[ Add ]
12 oz Lillet Blanc[ Add ]
Method: Prepare in a shaker
Glass: Flute
Recipe:
  1. Pour the ingredients in a shaker half-filled with ice. James specifies Gordon's gin.
  2. Shake vigorously James Bond style "Shaken, Not Stirred".
  3. Strain into a champagne glass.

Mr. Bond knows a good drink. But if you don't finish it in less than fifteen minutes, you drink mostly a lemon infused vodka (or a proto-lemoncello if you want)at best.

A very cool ULTRA PREMIUM version of the Vesper is drink I call the "Vesper Grey". It is a bit of a twist twist on based on the 007 classic. Please check it out and http://highspiritsdrinks.blogspot.com/
