In ancient times was made by Guaycura Indians from the Damiana herb which grows in the desert of southern Baja Ca. Rumored to be a strong aphrodisiac, and to enhance fertility, thus the bottle shaped in likeness of naked pregnant women, similar to ancient fertility goddess sculpture.

Try straight as an after dinner drink, or as replacement for orange flavor liquor in many drink recipes.
