Recipe:
- Add a few ice cubes in a short glass.
- Pour the brandy (or bourbon) over the ice cubes.

History
According to wikipedia: Horse's Neck became popular in the wardrooms of the Royal Navy in the 1960s, displacing Pink Gin as the officers' signature drink.

For me this one is best with bourbon. Not that it's bad with brandy/cognac anyway.

A great cocktail, also works well with gin or a smooth whiskey (Jamesons, any Bourbon or Rye whiskey)
