Cucumber Gin Tonic

Method: Prepare in glass
Glass: Old-Fashioned
Recipe:
- Pour the gin over ice in a short glass over ice. A tall glass works too.
- Pour the tonic water on top.
- Stir lightly.
- Drop a cucumber slice or 2 in.

History
According to wikipedia:
This cocktail was introduced by the army of the British East India Company in India.
Tonic water contains quinine, which was used to prevent malaria. In the 18th century, tonic water contained a large amount of quinine, which caused it to have a very bitter taste. Gin was added to make it more palatable.
