Recipe:

1. Pour the gin (or vodka), olive juice and and dry vermouth into a shaker, along with a few ice cubes.
2. The quality of the spirit here is a bit less important than with a classic Martini because of the strong olive flavor.
3. Shake very gently for a few seconds, until the mix is chilled. Don't shake too hard; it will create air bubbles that will get you a cloudy drink.
4. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
5. Drop in olive in the glass for decoration.
