A simple, but adequately strong, green-colored drink for St. Patrick's Day (and, I dedicate this to an old girlfriend, Sue, who truly loved St. Patrick's Day, but died far too young). May she RIP.

- Gently mix the spiced Rum (I definitely prefer "Sailor Jerry") and the Chartreuse.
- Pour the combination into a large Collins glass.
- Add the Mt. Dew and the ginger ale.
- Followed by a drop of green food coloring if desired to REALLY make it green.
