Jim's Root Beer Float

Root Beer Float made with Jim Beam Honey Whiskey, Root Beer and Vanilla Ice Cream.

[Dessert] [Frozen] [Party] [Refreshing] [Simple] [Sweet]

Ingredients [ oz | cl ][ My Bar ]
2 oz Honey Whiskey[ Add ]
8 oz Root Beer[ Add ]
3 scoops Ice Cream (Vanilla)[ Add ]
Method: Prepare in the glass
Glass: Mug
Recipe:
  1. Add 3 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream in a Mug.
  2. Follow that with 2 ounces of Jim Beam (or any brand) Honey Whiskey.
  3. Top off with 8 ounces of Root Beer.
  4. Mix and enjoy!
  5. If the drink is too strong, use less Whiskey, if too weak, use more whiskey or less Root Beer.

While looking through the site, I found that "Root Beer" was not listed as an ingredient, only Root Beer Schnapps. I found this odd as I use Root Beer in many drinks.

The Root Beer Float is a favorite of mine.

I'm a lover of root beer which led me to try this, it's very surprising how well the honey and root beer go together but the vanilla ice cream helps the drink go down smoothly! One of my regulars now, enjoyed it a lot. 10/10
